No, it will not grow back, but as the follicles are harvested from the scalp of the nape, which has the densest concentration of hair, there will be a slight thinning and the effect should be hardly noticeable. The surgeon will extract hair follicles within a certain distance from each other, so there should be no bald patches. The hair roots in the donor site are much denser than other areas. People will not visually notice a difference.
